Its bid history ends at $5,418,200; the reported total equals that bid plus a 20% buyer's premium. This is a closed-auction result, with settlement still unconfirmed.

The 2007-08 Upper Deck Exquisite Collection Logoman Autographs Dual #DL-BJ 1/1 ranks fourth among publicly reported basketball card sales, including private full-card transactions, and third among public auction results. It sits behind the $12.932 million Jordan-Kobe dual Logoman, the reported $10 million Jordan-LeBron private sale and Cooper Flagg's $8.04 million debut patch.

What the card is

The card puts two game-used NBA Logoman patches beside two blue on-card autographs. LeBron added his No. 23 inscription; Kobe added No. 24. The reverse states that the memorabilia was used in an official NBA game and that Upper Deck certified both the memorabilia and autographs.

PSA cert 65478780 records an NM-MT 8 card grade and GEM MT 10 autograph grade, with a PSA/DNA population of one and none higher. PSA shortens the card number to #BJ on its label; the release checklist identifies it as DL-BJ.

Why this card matters

Few cards combine this many top-end traits without a compromise: two generational players, two game-used league-logo patches, two on-card autographs, jersey-number inscriptions, Exquisite branding and a true one-of-one serial number.

The issue year strengthens the story. In 2007-08, Kobe won his only regular-season MVP and led the Lakers to the NBA Finals, while LeBron led the league in scoring and won All-Star Game MVP. This count excludes solo cards, cards with three or more players, non-Logoman memorabilia and products outside Exquisite.

It produced a COMPLETED SALE of $3,172,000 at Heritage in December 2025. Neither is a direct comp. The player pairings differ, the cards reached market at different times, and unique cards can be driven by a small number of bidders. The Alt card's higher numerical grade improves presentation, but grade alone does not outrank player combination, card design or bidder depth on a one-of-one.

What the result tells us

At $6,501,840, the Kobe-LeBron card reached roughly half the $12.932 million Jordan-Kobe result from the same Exquisite release. That is a substantial result for this player pairing, while leaving a clear gap to the Jordan-Kobe card. Different buyers, timing and player combinations prevent that gap from becoming a simple pricing formula.

The result now appears on both Kobe's and LeBron's sales boards. It does not replace either player's rookie-card hierarchy: this is a later-career, dual-player card with game-used Logomans and two autographs.
