How the final score is set

Each of the six inputs is scored from 1 to 10, weighted into one model score, and resolved through one tier table for every player.

The adjuster protects the neutral 5.0 baseline and scales only the score above it. Pre-NBA confidence is 55%; active-career confidence starts at 65%, rises four points per completed season, and tops out at 97%; a closed career is 100% observed.

Tier logic

The same score always resolves to the same tier, regardless of age, board, or profile template.

Cornerstone

8.7-10.0

The rare player markets with completed hobby stature, deep demand, durable card ecosystems, and very little unresolved score risk.

Blue Chip

8.0-8.6

Premium player markets with strong proof across the model and only limited career, price, supply, or liquidity friction.

Prime Hold

7.5-7.9

Strong collectible positions worth owning, though at least one meaningful part of the long-term case is still developing.

Selective Buy

The player thesis works, but exact-card choice and entry price matter as much as the name.
