Knueppel 1/1 and Flagg-Harper-Knueppel Triple Auto Surface in Topps Definitive

Three of the rookies who just drove the September Fanatics debut-patch auction are already on another card together. Topps identified a Cooper Flagg–Dylan Harper–Kon Knueppel triple autograph /10 among the first major pulls from 2025-26 Definitive Basketball. It also confirmed a Kon Knueppel Rookie Patch Auto 1/1. The two cards tell different collecting stories: one is a shared snapshot of the rookie class; the other is a single-player patch autograph with only one copy.

Five cards Topps says have surfaced

These are manufacturer-confirmed pull reports, not completed sales. Topps linked the original pull posts in its September 24 roundup. The roundup does not establish a transaction price for any of the five.

Why the Knueppel 1/1 matters

The Knueppel card is a Rookie Patch Auto in Definitive's first NBA release. That makes it a different object from his $2.34 million NBA Rookie Debut Patch Autograph in Topps Chrome Update. The latter is tied to a designated patch worn in his first NBA game; Topps' Definitive pull report does not state the usage provenance of this RPA's patch. Until the card back or another manufacturer source settles that detail, “patch autograph” is the accurate description.

Its 1/1 stamp makes this exact Definitive card unique. It does not make the entire Knueppel patch-auto category unique, and the debut-patch result cannot simply be copied over as its value.

The triple auto is a different kind of rookie card

Flagg, Harper and Knueppel have already produced three separate, high-profile debut-patch auction results. The Definitive triple autograph puts all three on one card numbered to ten. That is the appeal, but it also means there are ten copies of this design rather than a single patch tied to one player's debut. It should be compared with other multi-player rookie autographs, not priced by adding up three one-of-one patch sales.

The Curry Framed Veterans 1/1, Shai Gold Relic Auto 1/1 and Flagg Defining Images /5 broaden the early chase beyond the triple. Each has a distinct autograph and memorabilia construction. Before assigning value, collectors still need the exact card, condition and a completed sale—a pull post alone provides none of those prices.

The next useful evidence is not another product preview. It is clear front-and-back documentation for the Knueppel and Shai relics, confirmation of any redemptions, and public completed sales of the exact cards or close same-subset peers.
