About Topps Chrome Update
Topps Chrome Update is the in-season image and design companion to flagship Chrome. Use the 200-card base set for new photographs and uniforms, then treat Alter Egos, Minionfractor, format color, autographs, and debut patches as separate collector objects. The separately sold Sapphire Edition has its own guide.
Research note
A familiar Chrome finish does not guarantee familiar numbering. Update mixes printed serials, officially unnumbered cards, and named colors whose serial is unstated, so every detail keeps those three statuses separate.
